chocolate chip cookies

I love a good chocolate chip cookie, I like it to be moist, but not soft. I like them to be slightly burnt on the bottom. So, I bought some Mookies Cookies. They are a local cookie company, and sponser of my daughters soccer team, that is owned by my neighbors. The cookies are made from all organic ingredients, and are delicious. They remained moist even four days after I had bought them. They were not terribly soft but were beginning to get a little stale. The cookies did not have a burnt bottom like i prefer, but that is to be expected of store bought cookies. Overall the cookie was wonderful and I would recommend them to anyone who loves an all natural cookie that is flavorful and locally made.

An after thought

As I with my mentor today and she was asking who I had as professors, the whole name thing resinated with me again. I had to look up the names of my professors. So just as much as they don't know our names as a result of large class sizes and disconnection form their students, we as students have the same problem...or perhaps its just me.

VISION

As far as college students go, I love the way that the video captured the feeling of, I'm sure, every college student in America. My classes are huge and I don't even know my professors names, let alone they know mine. My children are growing up in a very society than I did 20 years ago. My three year old knows how to use some technilogical devices that i'm still unsure about. It's disheartening at times to know that I am paying 33,000 a year to go to school when at age 30 I've never made close to that amount ever.
